Compass Benefits prides itself on the many years of experience with Medicare benefit plans. Medicare is a Federal health insurance program begun in 1965, as a result of the “Medicare Act” providing coverage for US citizens who meet one of the following criteria:- You are over 65 years of age
- You are under 65 years of age and receiving Social Security Disability Insurance, or SSDI. In most cases, you qualify for Medicare due to a disability if you have been receiving SSDI checks for more than 24 months
- Suffer form end stage renal disease

Medicare coverage is classified
under four different categories:
- Part A: Hospital Coverage
- Part B: Outpatient Coverage
- Part C: Medicare Advantage Plans
- Part D: Prescription Drug Plan (PDP)
